I interveiwed my mentor on email, and found out tons of wonderful interesting facts about medical school. The other day, my teacher had a wonderful idea for my project! First, I'm going to make a posterboard saying my interveiw with Carla Jardim. (My Mentor) Then, I'm making a skit about a typical class in medical school. Exciting huh?

I am going to make a big poster board talking about my model and shows my report. I am also going to create a model of a room that I will design. I want all of my viewers to vote on what room I will design. The options are living room, bedroom, kitchen, or bathroom. If you pick bedroom, what age should the room be for? Don't you hate it when your papers get crumpled up in your backpack or when you can't find your homework in your messy backpack. I say "No more". I'm designning a back pack that holds a lot of stuff and helps people stay organized.
I am making a baseball website that is awesome! It will mostly be about pitching and maybe a little hitting. I'll have a section about pitching for velocity control and maybe how to not injure your arm. I might have a couple of videos and a couple of hitting tips. Sean The Awesome!

Hello. I am Sally Simpson. For my Gifted & Talented Individual Project, I am doing Video Book Reviews. My book reviews will include the world-famous Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling, the popular Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series by Rick Riordan, Suzanne Collins's Hunger Games Series, and some other books I have read and liked.
In my last blog of this school year, I will reveal my true, but secret, identity. I will tell everybody my reasoning for creating a screen name for myself. And finally, I will pick another screen name for the 2011-2012 school year. But I will not reveal it, for it would then not be a secret next year.

This blog is a place where G&T students can post project updates, finished projects and videos, and write their thoughts and reflections.
This year in Gifted and Talented, fifth through eighth grade students are choosing and designing their own independent projects. They will be working with mentors who are experts in each student's chosen topic. Since we've began this process, it has been exciting to see the range and creativity of student interests and project ideas. From "The Art and Science of Baking" to "A Day in the Life of a Medical Student", we are covering a lot of interesting territory.
